1) Best Places to Work
Virginia Business compiled its Best Places to Work in Virginia in collaboration with Best Companies Group. Firms were ranked for this year’s list based on the results of surveys given to participating companies and their employees.

2) 10 Virginia companies make Most Admired list
Ten Virginia companies made Fortune magazine’s annual list of the World’s Most Admired Companies.

3) Riverstone Group LLC of Richmond buys Keswick Hall
The Riverstone Group LLC of Richmond, a subsidiary of Bill Goodwin’s CCA Industries, has purchased Keswick Hall from Orient-Express Hotels Inc.

4) Amazon.com to create 1,350 jobs in Richmond area
Amazon.com announced plans to open two fulfillment centers in Dinwiddie and Chesterfield Counties.

A new option in preventative health care for seniors is coming to Virginia.

10) What happened?
