The Draftsman opens in Charlottesville
Charlottesville’s newest hotel opened last week on Main Street.
The 11-story Draftsman, Autograph Collection includes 150 guest rooms, 2,300 square feet of event space, a fitness center and an on-site farm-to-table restaurant called Renewal.
The hotel, located at 1106 W. Main St., was designed by BBGM Architects and built by Donohoe Construction. Carr Cos. is the property developer, and Donohoe Hospitality Services is the hotel management company.
The Draftsman Is named after three visionary Virginians, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and James Monroe.
