Sunday update: 2,637 COVID-19 cases in Virginia
Number of fatalities is now 51, one less than Saturday's total

In Sunday’s update by the Virginia Department of Health, the state has 2,637 confirmed cases of COVID-19, up 230 from Saturday.
There are 51 deaths — one less than Saturday — confirmed, and 431 people hospitalized, as well as 23,671 tested.
According to VDH, “Due to a change in the code for reporting deaths due to COVID-19, one of the previously reported deaths that occurred in a patient is not attributed to COVID-19.”
