Speciality blade manufacturer to expand in Augusta
Specialty blades manufacturer AccuTec Blades Inc. will expand its Augusta County manufacturing operation, creating 53 new jobs and retaining 138.
The company, which produces specialty, medical and professional blades, will invest $5.37 million in the facility.
“The pro-business and pro-manufacturing support we received at both the local and state level convinced AccuTec’s ownership to expand operations in Augusta County, Virginia, rather than go elsewhere,” said Rick Gagliano, president of AccuTec Blades.
Gov. Terry McAuliffe approved a $125,000 grant from the Commonwealth’s Opportunity Fund for the project.
