SilverCap Partners buys Henrico County office/warehouse for $3 million
SilverCap Partners LLC, a Charlotte-based real estate investment firm, has made its first purchase in the Richmond market with the $3 million acquisition of a Henrico County office/warehouse.
Villa Park III, a 88,960-square-foot building at 7870 Villa Park Drive, was in the hands of a special servicer following an earlier foreclosure at the time of the sale, according to Mark Douglas of Cushman & Wakefield, a broker on the deal.
Tenants in the building include OfficeMax and Honeywell.
Thalhimer said in a press release that SilverCap Partners purchased the property from C-III as a value-added investment. SilverCap focuses on value-oriented opportunities across the southeastern U.S.
Thalhimer’s Douglas, Eric Robison and Brian K. Berkey handled sale negotiations on behalf of the seller. Thalhimer said it will retain the leasing and property management for the property.
