Richmond property sold for $1.3 million

A former restaurant property in Richmond has a new owner in the driver’s seat.

RIO Broad LLC has bought for $1.3 million the Nanking Chinese Restaurant property at 7408  W. Broad St, according to an S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. announcement. Plans call for the 1.78-acre site to become a RIO Car Wash.

RIO Car wash began operations in 1995. The new location will be the company’s seventh overall. The company’s existing locations are in Richmond, Fredericksburg and Virginia Beach.

S.L. Nusbaum says it represents RIO Car Wash. S.L. Nusbaum brokers Colin Williams, Zach Brenner and Nathan Shor represented RIO Broad LLC in the land deal. David Kalman, also with S.L. Nusbaum, represented the seller.
