Richmond consulting firm hires SVP of data and analytics
UDig's new SVP, Reid Colson, comes from Markel Corp.
Richmond-based IT consulting firm UDig has hired Reid Colson as its senior vice president of data and analytics, it announced Tuesday.
“With Reid on our team, we are excited to help clients seize opportunities, from creating a single version of the truth to driving value via predictive analytics and machine learning,” said Andy Frank, UDig founder and CEO, said in a statement.
Colson was most recently Markel Corp.’s chief data and analytics officer and head of innovation. He also worked with Capital One Financial Corp. in data analytics roles. Colson will focus on helping middle market companies use data to improve their incomes.
“The right data, strategy, and infrastructure can enhance everything from customer acquisition and retention to employee performance and satisfaction,” Colson said in a statement.
Founded in 2001, UDig is a technology consulting firm with locations in Richmond, Nashville and Washington, D.C.
