Northern Virginia’s largest Gold’s Gym franchisees to open 7th location
Jeremy and Lori Lowell, the largest Gold’s Gym franchisees in Northern Virginia, plan to open a seventh location in Woodbridge during the first week of August.
The 22,000-square-foot Gold’s Gym Elite Training Center will locate in what was previously the home of United Furniture at Marumsco Plaza on Jefferson Davis Highway. The center is expected to employ 40 people.
The Lowell’s Gold Gym ownership spans more than 23 years. In Virginia, the couple has other locations in Lake Ridge, Lorton, Sterling, Ashburn, Herndon and Fredericksburg.
They also own three Gold’s gyms in Wisconsin. Jeremy Lowell was a founding director of the Gold’s Gym National Franchisee Association and serves on its advisory board.
The newest gym in Woodbridge will offer a menu of fitness activities and classes, including aerial yoga, MOi cycle and mixed martial arts programs with sponsored fight nights that allow sparring with local and national fighters.
