Law: PHILIPPE J.C. SIGNORE

Signore began his career as a physicist, earning a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and then a Ph.D. from the University of Florida. After earning his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, he transitioned to handling patents and intellectual property matters for a variety of high-tech industries, including aerospace, semiconductors, optical systems and medical devices.
As the leader of one of the world’s top patent law firms, Signore also has taught patent law as an adjunct professor at George Mason’s Antonin Scalia Law School and as a faculty member at the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies in Strasbourg, France. (He speaks French fluently.) In addition, Signore lectures on U.S. patent law for multiple associations in the United States, Asia and Europe.
Signore has been named multiple times to Managing IP Magazine’s IP Star list and to IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners.
