Aghdami’s practice focuses chiefly on tax planning for wealth transfer, business succession planning and fiduciary litigation. His client list is wide and varied, including individuals and families with high net worth, middle-market business owners, charities and others. Williams Mullen is one of Virginia’s largest firms and employs 360 people in the commonwealth.

Aghdami, who joined Williams Mullen in 1999, graduated from the University of Virginia. He went on to receive his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Master of Laws degree in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. Aghdami serves as vice chairman for Venture Richmond and is a board member of the Mutual Assurance Society of Virginia. He has chaired the Virginia Bar Association’s wills, trusts and estates section and the fiduciary income tax committee of the American Bar Association’s Tax Section.
