Keith Haas joins Snagajob as company’s new CFO

Published June 11, 2013 by Paula C. Squires

Snagajob, America’s largest hourly employment marketplace for job seekers and employers, announced a new CFO on Tuesday. The company said in a press release that Keith Haas has joined Snagajob, succeeding Dave Bosher as the firm’s chief financial officer.

Haas has more than 20 years of experience leading fast-growing private and public technology companies, having most recently served as the vice president of finance for GeoEye, a commercial satellite imagery company in Herndon that merged with DigitalGlobe in January of this year.

Prior to GeoEye, Haas served as a key financial leader for K12, a technology-based education company in Herndon. In that job, he helped increase revenues from about $35 million to more than $700 million in eight years and assisted in K12’s successful IPO.

“For more than 20 years, Keith has served as a critical financial advisor and leader for some of the fastest-growing technology companies in the region,” Peter Harrison, Snagajob’s CEO, said in a statement. “His track record helping technology-enabled services companies scale makes him a perfect fit to guide Snagajob through our next phase of growth.”

The company said Bosher, who helped shepherd Snagajob’s more than ten-fold growth and led three different rounds of institutional funding since joining as its CFO in 2006, is leaving to focus on other early-stage companies.

“After serving almost seven years as the CFO for Snagajob, the timing is right for me to focus on the next phase of my career, and I’m thrilled that Keith will be joining the team,” Bosher said. “I have absolutely loved my time with Snagajob, and as we prepare for our next exciting phase of growth here at the company, I am equally excited about focusing on my passion of helping other early-stage start-up companies secure funding and grow their organizations to maximize their potential.”

Bosher, the Virginia Business Small Private Company CFO of the Year in 2008, plans to stay in the Richmond area.
