Inova adds 2 execs to board of trustees
Cox, Northrup Grumman execs join board
Falls Church-based Inova Health System has added two new members to its board of trustees, the nonprofit health care provider announced April 6.
Kathryn Falk, vice president at Cox Communications in Northern Virginia, and Lesley Kalan, corporate vice president and chief strategy and development officer for Northop Grumman Corp., have joined the board, which oversees Inova’s strategy, financial condition and performance of management.
“I’m excited to welcome Kathryn and Lesley to our Board,” said Tony Nader, chair of Inova’s board of trustees. “They bring the perfect combination of distinguished experience and a deep commitment to serve the people in the Northern Virginia community.”
Falk is the immediate past chairman of the board of directors of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the immediate past chair of Educate Fairfax, the board of the Tysons Partnership and the board of directors of the Virginia Broadcast Association.
Kalan serves on the board of directors for the National Association of Manufacturers, the board of the Wolf Trap Foundation and is a Center for Strategic and International Studies Women’s Global Leadership fellow.
With Falk and Kalan, the board now has 17 members.
Both are based in Northern Virginia.
