With more than 30 years in orthopedic medicine, Jevsevar leads the largest independent orthopedic practice in Virginia.
He joined OrthoVirginia in May after spending more than seven years as chair and regional vice president of orthopedics for Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics in New Hampshire. Before that, he ran a private medical practice until he sold it to Intermountain Healthcare and became medical director of Intermountain’s orthopedic clinical program.
Jevsevar, who served in the Air Force, earned his medical degree from Georgetown University and holds an MBA from Auburn University and a bachelor’s degree from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He chairs the Research and Quality Council for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, which aims to improve the safety and effectiveness of musculoskeletal care.
