While businesses are still in the process of reopening during the pandemic, coworking office operating company Gather Workspaces LLC will open its Virginia Beach location Wednesday — Gather’s third in the Hampton Roads region.

“Our members have 24/7 access to all six of our locations in Virginia, which is a unique benefit at Gather,” James Crenshaw, an owner of Gather, said in a statement. “We take care of everything related to running an office so that members can fully focus on what they do best – growing their business and being successful.”

Located in the Town Center of Virginia Beach, the 28,000-square-foot coworking space includes 145 private office spaces. Other Hampton Roads locations are in Newport News and Norfolk, along with three (soon to be four) in the Richmond region.

“Employers must provide a safe environment in which to work and many businesses will need to de-densify shared bullpen-style offices to enable social distancing during work hours,” Crenshaw said in a statement. “Gather Virginia Beach is a great solution with 145 private offices as well as suites and larger offices that allow for physical spacing between individuals working together in small teams.”

The Virginia Beach location also has conference rooms and meeting spaces. Each of the office options can be rented on a month-to-month basis, “which offers maximum flexibility compared to traditional real estate contracts,” Crenshaw said in a statement.

Hampton Roads native Savannah Bolin is the regional director of Gather’s Hampton Roads locations and community managers have been hired to run the Virginia Beach office.

Gather currently has more than 900 members among its Newport News, Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Richmond office spaces. Founded in 2014, Gather designs, builds and operates coworking office communities, to which members have 24/7 access.
