The developers of the proposed The View at Tysons project purchased the remaining land needed for the development in February, according to Fairfax County land records.

Tysons-based Clemente Development Co., in partnership with Saudi Arabian corporate titan Khaled bin Ahmed Al Juffali, purchased a trio of properties near the Spring Hill Metro Station for $123 million from the family that owns Cherner Development Group in Tysons.

With plans calling for 3 million square feet of office, residential and retail space plus a hotel, The View at Tysons will include the proposed Iconic Tower, which, at 600-plus-feet high, would be the tallest building in Virginia.

Virginia Business most recently reported on the project’s progress in our October 2019 and March 2020 issues.
