CEO, SCIENCE APPLICATIONS INTERNATIONAL CORP. (SAIC), RESTON
Keene’s three-year ascent from chief operating officer to being named CEO of Fortune 500 contractor SAIC in 2019 was noted by WashingtonExec, which recognized her for the fifth time in 2022, citing her leadership in SAIC’s strategic growth. With an annual revenue of more than $7 billion, she oversees a workforce of more than 26,000 employees.
A native of Libya, Keene joined SAIC, which provides systems integration, engineering and information technology solutions to defense, intelligence and civilian agencies, in 2012 and previously served as president of its global markets and missions sector. Before that, she spent nearly nine years at CGI Inc., working as a senior vice president and general manager and helping to lead expansion efforts as a member of its global executive committee.
Keene earned a degree in management information systems from the University of Arizona and sits on the boards of Inova Health System and ADP Inc.
SAIC partnered with the American Red Cross to support humanitarian efforts for Ukraine in 2022, matching donations up to $50,000. In May, SAIC received a $390 million contract to provide IT services to the U.S. Space Force.
