Federal Contractors | Technology 2023: SCOTT McINTYRE
CHAIRMAN AND CEO, GUIDEHOUSE, McLEAN
With 2,910 employees in the greater Washington area and 16,500 employees worldwide, Guidehouse is a global provider of consulting services, with capabilities in management, technology and risk consulting. It was formed in 2018 after Veritas Capital purchased PricewaterhouseCoopers’ U.S. public sector business, for which McIntyre served as managing partner. With the change of ownership, he became Guidehouse’s CEO.
Under McIntyre’s leadership, Guidehouse was ranked 13th on Washington Business Journal’s list of privately held companies by revenue in the Washington, D.C., region last year. The company also placed seventh on Consulting magazine’s ranking of fastest growing companies.
In October 2022, Guidehouse acquired Grant Thornton’s public sector advisory practice, and in December, it won a prime role on a multiyear $650 million Veterans Affairs health care contract.
McIntyre serves on the board of directors of the Baldrige Foundation and previously was chairman of the Prevent Cancer Foundation board. He has been named to Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 list of top government contracting leaders for seven consecutive years. He is also a member of The Wall Street Journal’s CEO council.
