CASCOM joins Commonwealth Center for Advanced Logistics Systems
The Commonwealth Center for Advanced Logistics Systems (CCALS) in Central Virginia has recruited its first government member.
The Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM), at Fort Lee has joined the research collaborative. CASCOM, the Army’s sustainment think tank and learning institution, joins two companies and four universities that are already part of the project.
CCALS members identify logistics challenges and share resources to solve them.
According to a news release, government associates do not contribute financially to CCALS, but participate in collaborative research projects and advise on technical direction and workforce development.
