A shopping center in Bedford has sold for $8.4 million, Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Capital Markets Group announced Monday.

Bedford Plaza is a 112,649-square-foot retail center that has tenants including Dollar Tree, Goodwill, Tractor Supply, Virginia ABC, the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, among restaurants and other service retailers. The property was 79% leased at the time of the sale.

Coastal Equities of Weston, Florida, acquired Bedford Plaza located at 1128 E. Lynchburg Salem Turnpike on Feb. 13 from Southgate III LLC. The shopping center sits on nearly 12 acres of land, according to Hackney Real Estate Partners.

The sale was completed by Eric Robinson and Catharine Spangler of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Capital Markets Group.
