Aldi to open new store in Chesapeake on July 27
Aldi will open its newest store in Virginia in Chespeake on July 27.
The store will be located at 1256 Executive Blvd. As a result of customer input, the Chesapeake store presents a new look, with a focus on fresh items, including more robust produce, dairy and bakery sections, Aldi said in a news release.
The store will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:25 a.m.
ALDI, a discount grocery chain based in Germany, is in the midst of an accelerated growth plan. By the end of 2018, the company plans to have nearly 2,000 U.S. stores serving 45 million customers.
