Marketing agency creates new division

The Lynchburg-area marketing agency protoype:advertising has launched a tourism division.

The division,  prototype:tourism, will offer a wide variety of services including  strategy development, brand and marketing campaigns, group sales, event management, and certification and education programs.

The Forest-based firm’s tourism marketing clients include Hilton and JC Resorts properties in California, fishing resort Deep Water Cay in the Bahamas and The High Lonesome Ranch in the Colorado Rockies.

In Virginia, the firm’s clients  include  discoverLynchburg, Lynchburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, National D-Day Memorial, Poplar Forest, Craddock Terry Hotel and the Town of Appomattox.

The prototype:tourism team includes Beckie Nix, president; Courtney Hunter and Denise Jackson, vice presidents, national accounts; and Melanie Letterman, vice president, digital strategy.
