Wal-Mart has opened a temporary hiring center in Fredericksburg to begin accepting applications for 330 positions at a new store slated to open this fall in Stafford County.
According to store Manager Lisa Bowman, Wal-Mart plans to hire full- and part-time employees for work in all areas, including supervisory positions.
The company’s benefits — available to eligible full- and part-time workers — include health care insurance, a 401(k) plan, stock purchase program and life insurance.
People who are hired will begin work in September. The hiring center is located at 2300 Fall Hill Avenue, Suite 240. People can apply Monday through Friday, during full-day business hours, and from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturdays.
