Waldvogel Commercial Properties represented Verizon Virginia Inc. in the sale of three office buildings in the Roanoke area. The largest sale was for a 53,800-square-foot, two-story office building at 5515 Airport Road in Roanoke. Located on a seven-acre site, it’s near the Roanoke Regional Airport in a commercial corridor that includes Valley View Mall. Delta Dental of Virginia purchased the property for about $35.43 per square foot.
Verizon South Inc. also sold a 37,200-square-foot building at 254 Industrial Park Dr. in Amherst to L&M Properties LLC, a Roanoke-based investment group. The property sits on a 9.8-acre site in the Amherst Industrial Park.
Another office building at 802 E. Main Street in Pulaski was sold by Verizon Communications Inc. to the County of Pulaski. The county plans to use the 14,000-square-foot for the relocation of its Sheriff’s Department and 911 call center.
In another deal for a different client, Waldvogel represented Fleet Feet Sports in the purchase of a new building at 4347 Franklin Rd. in Roanoke. The $1.3 million, 6,000-square-foot property is currently occupied by Play It Again Sports. Fleet Feet plans to move this summer.
