USA TODAY Travel Media Group announced Tuesday it has acquired travel site provides original content on top attractions, things to see and do and restaurants for destinations. The content is written by a team of local travel experts. In 2012, averaged more than 700,000 monthly unique visitors who generated about 28 million pageviews.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. will continue as a standalone travel media site. Its content will be featured in USA TODAY Travel Media Group’s current digital products and across Gannett media outlets, including websites of more than 100 local news organizations.McLean-based Gannett Co. Inc. owns USA TODAY.
