SAIC receives contract for Naval warfare analyses

McLean-based Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) has received a contract to provide modeling and simulation-based warfare analysis to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations’ Assessment Division (OPNAV N81).
The contract includes a one-year based period with four one-year options with a total value that could reach $249 million. The work will be conducted in the Washington, D.C., area.
OPNAV N81 analyzes naval warfare. SAIC will provide warfare support and analyses and modeling and simulation support.
SAIC moved its headquarters late last year from San Diego to McLean.
