Rawls McNelis + Mitchell to relocate to Rocketts Landing
- March 14, 2012
The Richmond office of law firm Rawls McNelis + Mitchell is relocating to Rocketts Landing in August. The 14-lawyer firm that specializes in medical cases plans to move from its current location at 1111 East Main St. into 6,000 square feet of office space in a three-story building that had been used as Rocketts Landing’s sales center. The firm will lease the first two floors.
“With our firm continuing to grow, we were looking for office space that would not only accommodate our expansion but reflect our firm’s culture and values,” Brewster Rawls, the company’s founder and president, said in a statement. “We see in Rocketts Landing a vibrant and scenic extension of Richmond’s professional community, a setting that embraces both the city’s past and future. And having the James River right outside our door makes it all the more appealing. “
Rocketts Landing is an urban neighborhood of condominiums, townhomes, restaurants, shops, offices, and Richmond’s only marina. The WVS Cos. is developing the community, located about a
mile and a half from downtown Richmond along the banks of the James. Rawls McNelis also has offices in Norfolk and Fredericksburg.
