A new retail center in Suffolk consisting of two 10,000-square-foot buildings will be anchored by a Panera Bread restaurant.

The site at 1217 N. Main St. in Suffolk also will include nTelos Wireless and Wireless Experience stores.

KLS Development Group LLC bought the three-acre site for $1 million from Economic Development Authority of the City of Suffolk.

The building currently on the property formerly used by the city health department, will be demolished to allow construction of the two new buildings.

Ted Levin of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled sales negotiations for the buyer and secured the leases with nTelos and Wireless Experience.
