ODU official named business school dean at University of Richmond

The dean of Old Dominion University’s College of Business and Public Administration has been named the new dean at the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business.
Nancy A. Bagranoff will join the UR business school on Aug. 9, succeeding Robert M. Schmidt, the interim dean since last June.
An accounting professor, Bagranoff is president of the American Accounting Association. She also is the author of many textbooks and articles on accounting information systems, consulting, and information technology audit and control.
Bagranoff received her doctor of business administration degree in accounting and information systems in 1986 from George Washington University. She holds a master’s degree in accounting from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Ohio State University.
