AES Corp., an Arlington-based energy company, sold its interest in a power plant and coal mine in Kazakhstan to

Kazakhmys PLC for $1.1 billion in consideration and the opportunity for another $381 million over three years. AES

maintains ownership of other facilities in Eastern Kazakhstan. (News release)

Nitva Inc., an information technology services provider headquartered in McLean, opened an office in Beverly Hills,

Larsen Commercial Real Estate Services of Reston joined the ONCOR International LCC network, providing senior-level

tenant representation and investment property services in the Northern Virginia market to national and

Sunbelt, an international business brokerage network, opened a new office in McLean, near Tysons Corner, under the

direction of Majid Zarinbaksh, owner of Sunbelt operations in Montgomery and Frederick counties in Maryland.
