NetWitness to create 50 jobs in Fairfax

Cyber-security firm NetWitness Corp. plans to expand its Fairfax County headquarters, creating at least 50 new jobs.
“Northern Virginia is the perfect locale for our headquarters because it offers us proximity to a critical segment of our customer base as well as a steady stream of talented job applicants for a variety of
rewarding positions at NetWitness,” Amit Yoran, CEO of NetWitness, said in a statement.
NetWitness offers an advanced network security monitoring platform that allows government and commercial organizations to detect and fix complex IT risks undetectable to other technologies. The company’s clients include government agencies around the world in defense, homeland security and intelligence, as well as private businesses.
It was recently named the 21st-fastest growing private company in the U.S. by Inc. magazine.
