Krafts Food expansion to create 100 jobs in Frederick
- March 2, 2010
Kraft Foods Global plans to increase production of Capri Sun at its Frederick County facility, creating 100 new jobs.
Kraft said it will spend $40 million at its Frederick County plant.
“Kraft Foods has enjoyed a long and productive relationship over the years in Virginia,” said Dilton “Dee” Gibbs, Kraft Foods Winchester plant manager, in a statement. “This award is a good indication of our belief that Virginia remains a great place to do business.”
McDonnell approved a $200,000 grant from the Governor’s Opportunity Fund to help Frederick with the project and a $300,000 performance-based grant from the Virginia Investment Partnership, which is an incentive to existing companies.
