Hilton Worldwide, formerly the Hilton Hotels Corp., announced its new name and logo today. The emphasis on the company’s global reach follows the recent relocation of its corporate headquarters from Beverly Hills to McLean. “On the heels of a successful move into our new global headquarters, we’re excited to launch our corporate identity that better represents who we are today and our aspirations for the company going forward,” CEO Christopher J. Nassetta said in a statement.
Hilton’s portfolio of 10 brands — from luxurious full-service hotels to mid-priced properties — includes more than 3,300 hotels in 77 countries. The company plans to open 300 hotels this year.
