General Dynamics receives $20 million contract

General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products won a $20 million contract from The Boeing Co. to design components for the military’s C-17 Globemaster III.
The work will be completed at Genera Dynamics’ materials facility in Marion, Va. General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, based in Charlotte, N.C., is a division of Falls Church defense contractor General Dynamics.
The military uses the C-17 Globemaster III for transport of troops and cargo.
Deliveries are expected to begin in February 2011 and be completed in April 2012.
