General Dynamics completes acquisition of cyber-security tools company
- August 28, 2012
Fairfax County-based General Dynamics has completed its previously announced acquisition of Fidelis Security Systems Inc., a cyber-security tools company.
Fidelis will become part of General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics. The value of the cash transaction has not been disclosed.
General Dynamics said Fidelis’ security solutions will help its customers stop advanced threats and prevent data breaches by providing visibility into the complex layers of a network, exposing malicious content in real-time.
Company officials said these products complement General Dynamics’ cyber operations and incident response services.
