Electronics manufacturer adding 50 more jobs in Waynesboro
- July 20, 2012
High-tech manufacturer PPI/Time Zero has announced plans to add 50 more jobs in Waynesboro. The company established a Virginia operation a year ago.
In a statement, Dana Pittman, PPI/Time Zero President and CEO, said:
“We expanded from New Jersey to Virginia to better serve our core clients in defense and attract new ones, and that’s exactly what happened. Now we are looking to expand to keep up with increasing demand.”
The electronics manufacturer expects to hire 50 employees by August and 50 more employees by the end of 2012, Pittman said. Pittman also said PPI/Time Zero could also add 50,000 square feet to Solutions Place, the business center where it’s currently located.
PPI/Time Zero is an electronics manufacturing service company providing low-to-medium volume highly customized electronics. The company has a branch in Fairfield, N.J., and came to Virginia last year in a $1.15 million expansion.
