Cushman & Wakefield selected to market 2200 Pennsylvania Ave. NW

Boston Properties has hired Cushman & Wakefield of Washington, D.C., Inc. as the exclusive leasing agent for 2200 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, one of the newest addresses in D.C.’s Central Business District.
The 10-story, 458,831-square-foot, Class A, mixed-use building is located next to the Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro station. Completed in 2011, the property is 94% leased. Long-term tenants include Hunton & Williams, Vinson & Elkins and the Danaher Corp. According to CBRE, the building’s retail space is 100% leased and includes several restaurants, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Federal Credit Union and Children’s Creative Learning Child Care Center.
As part of Boston Properties’ Square 54 development, 2200 Pennsylvania Ave. is adjacent to The Residences on The Avenue, a 335-unit apartment building.
Cushman & Wakefield’s leasing team of Susan Thomas, Michael Katcher, Brittany Kalkstein and Theo Slagle will oversee office leasing for the property. “… We are thrilled to be working with Boston Properties on the leasing of such a high profile asset,” Susan Thomas, senior director at Cushman & Wakefield, said in a statement.
