Falls Church-based Computer Sciences Corp. has received an $85 million order to provide cyber training for the Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy in Linthicum, Md.
The contract, which comes from the General Services Administration’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center, has a one-year base and four one-year options.
CSC will continue to teach 20 standard courses that range from security to computer forensics and net work intrusion. Under the contract, CSC will also develop an online training system to promote collaboration across the U.S. Department of Defense.
“Investigators have solved crimes of terrorism, fraud and computer or network intrusion in the United States and around the world,” said Aaron Fuller, president of CSC’s North American Public Sector Enforcement, Security and Intelligence Group. “Through our worldwide government and commercial cyber expertise, we have an unmatched ability to support the training requirements for the defense industrial base and the growing requirements of the President’s Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative.”
