CSC secures $224 million U.S. Army task order

Falls Church-based CSC announced today that the U.S. Army chose the company to provide technical and engineering support for its Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center.
The five-year task order, which was finalized during CSC’s fiscal 2011 first quarter, has an estimated total value of $224 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will provide technical and engineering services in the areas of integration, computer, navigation and control technologies and electronics and system design.
“For nearly 40 years, CSC has proudly supported the Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center,” Randy Cash, vice president and general manager of CSC’s North American Public Sector Huntsville Alabama Operations, said in a statement.
