- March 14, 2012
CNA, a research and analysis organization, will relocate from its current site at 4825 Mark Center Dr. in Alexandria to a yet-to-be constructed building at 3001 Washington Blvd. in Arlington.
UGL Services’ Washington, D.C. office represented CNA, which preleased 173,309-square-foot lease, with occupancy to begin in 2014. About 600 employees are scheduled to make the move. The future Class A, 10-story building, to be situated one block from the Clarendon Metro Station, recently received approval from the Arlington County Board of Supervisors. Final site assembly, financing and construction are all expected to move forward. Managing Directors Herb Mansinne and Bob VeShancey of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the developer, Penzance, in the lease transaction.
CNA’s Center for Naval Analyses is a federally funded research and development center for the Navy and Marine Corps. The center also provides research and analyses services to other military and government agencies to help improve the efficiency of U.S. national defense efforts.
