Church purchases site in Fredericksburg’s Central Park for $3.8 million

Lifepoint Church has purchased a 35,428-square-foot property on four acres of land in Central Park from Fredericksburg 104 LLC of Virginia for $3.8 million. It plans to put a worship facility at the site. The building, at 1400 Central Park Blvd., is the former home of American Indoor Karting and the Fredericksburg Ice Park.
The Rappaport Cos. in McLean, which owns the building and most of Central Park — a mixed-use center off I-95 with 250 retailers, welcomed its newest tenant. “We look forward to having Lifepoint as an integral part of Central Park,” the company said in a statement. “Lifepoint will bring additional customers to Central Park during non-traditional retail hours that will benefit all the retailers and services offered.”
