Bringing the economy to life
- June 25, 2010
The Richmond Federal Reserve Bank will open a new exhibit that explores its role in the economy on July 13 at its headquarters in downtown Richmond.
“The Fed Experience” employs touch-screen technology and real-life examples to explore the growth of living standards, the importance of price stability and the bank’s role in the economy.
A series of videos will feature current and former Fed chairman, among others, discussing the Great Depression, inflation, and more recently the Great Recession. The exhibit is a successor to the Richmond’s Fed’s former money museum.
