Baskervill announces several project awards
- November 18, 2012
Baskervill, a Richmond based architecture, engineering and interior design firm, has landed several recent projects. The largest is for a government client. Baskervill is serving as a track, fleet maintenance and warehouse design consultant to Kiernan Timberlake on site development for Phase I of the General Services Administration’s Foreign Affairs Training Center at Fort Pickett in Blackstone. The project, to be designed in two phases, will have a total of 35 buildings and a projected budget of $300 million.
In the hospitality industry, Baskervill is providing interior design services for renovations at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront hotel. The project includes updates to the guestrooms and public spaces of the hotel’s Empyrean Club. Design is underway and construction is slated to be done by late 2013.
In Fredericksburg, Baskervill is providing architectural services for a new 9,970-square-foot retail building at the Harrison Crossing retail center. Under construction by The Design Group P.C., the six-tenant building will be six stories tall and is a sister building to one already in the complex.
