You have written about technology in the legal profession. How has technology changed the practice of bankruptcy law?
“I remain astounded at how little attention the profession and academia have paid to the impact of technology — not only how lawyers do their work but also the work itself.  The seemingly mundane evolution of typing and printing into ‘word processing’ has radically altered our product and what it means to ‘think like a lawyer.’ The full deployment of computerized databases and computerized research (which are two different phenomena) has had even more effect on our practices and our thought processes.”
