Nighthawk Radiology Holdings Inc., an Idaho-based
provider of contract radiology services for hospitals
and radiology groups, bought American Teleradiology
Nighthawks Inc. of Roanoke. Nighthawk made the
deal to increase its customer base at a time when the
company is in the process of going public. (The

Commercial Metals Co. of Irving, Texas, acquired Hall-Hodges
Co., a Norfolk provider of reinforced steel.
Hall-Hodges will operate as part of group of facilities
on the East Coast that fabricate reinforced steel

Union Bankshares Corp., a financial services
company headquartered in Bowling Green, announced plans
to purchase Prosperity Bank & Trust Co. of
Springfield for $36 million in cash and operate it
as a wholly-owned subsidiary. Prosperity has $130 million

Yount, Hyde & Barbour
PC, a Winchester-based
CPA firm, merged with the Richmond firm of Rose,
Sanderson & Creasy LLC which will adopt the
Yount, Hyde and Barbour name. The merger will create
