Navy recommends carrier move to Florida

The Navy officially recommended Wednesday that an aircraft carrier be moved from Norfolk Naval Station to Mayport Naval Station in Florida. Virginia’s congressional delegation believes the move could cost the state up to 11,000 jobs.
