James Madison University’s College of Business was ranked 54th overall nationally in a survey by BusinessWeek magazine. JMU rose to 20th among public universities. GW LLC, a project to revamp Winchester’s George Washington Hotel, will become the first to receive the city’s business development grant for vacant property. Intended for buildings larger than 10,000 square feet which have been vacant for two years or more, the grant allows refunding of business taxes on the project for the first five
