Data center to create 96 jobs in Page
May 14, 2008 8:10 AM

Luray-based Premier Technical Services will open a data center in Page County, creating 96 new jobs.

The $16.5 million investment will include a continuity-of-operations and data center that will incorporate “green design.” The company plans to apply for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for the new facility.

The company provides a variety of technology sales, work-force and systems engineering for federal, state and local governments, contractors, trade associations, the U.S. military and contractors.

“I am excited to bring this facility to Page County. Premier chose the Commonwealth, and particularly Page County, because of the close proximity of Washington, D.C. and the natural environment of the Valley,” said David Tong, president of Premier.
