What should be done to simplify U.S. corporate taxes?
“We need to get back to the basics of why the corporate tax system was established in the first place. In order to simplify the tax system, the same requirements for all business entities should be established by: 1) maintaining the same taxable income items, exemptions, credits and business deductions; 2) eliminating or making permanent all the special and temporary deductions or credits so companies have a better ability to plan for taxes in the future; and 3) eliminating or reducing the double taxation of C Corporations.”
