What unique challenges do CFOs face in your industry?
“The economic downturn has intensified the normal challenges to manage cash, control costs and carefully evaluate customers, suppliers and subcontractors. Replacing backlog is difficult with the number of competitors for few construction projects, and commodity price fluctuations such as for copper, steel or cement can doom a project before it starts. The current regulatory climate is also of concern because of the number of changes, the frequency, and the costs associated with compliance or the lack thereof.”
Congratulations Carolyn on being featured as a Super CPA a well deserved honor.
