“The profession has seen an intensifying focus on quality and internal controls.  Assurance professionals face increasing pressure to ensure our work is of the highest possible quality.  Additionally, our focus is increasingly turning towards how we evaluate our clients’ internal controls to ensure their accounting information is correct.  The latter is an area that is constantly evolving, but, if handled correctly, can add significant value to our clients and investors.”
